The second annual Shinnston Community Band Independence Day concert was held Monday, July 1 at the new Shinnston City Park. The concert coincided with the opening ceremony of the new Shinnston pool. Approximately 1,500 people attended the performance, which was followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
